Multiple Browser Profiles and Separate Sign-In Workspaces in Social Browser

Updated September 2026. Social Browser no longer describes this workflow as “Login By Multi User”. The current model is simpler: create a persistent browser Profile for each authorized account, client or workspace that needs separate session state.

Each Profile keeps its own cookies, storage, login state and browser settings. That means switching between workspaces does not require repeatedly signing out of one account and into another.

One Profile per account or operational workspace

A practical setup is to create one Profile per client account, store, QA identity, support workspace or other authorized environment. The Profile becomes the stable container for that workspace instead of relying on temporary private windows.

What stays separate?

  • cookies and authenticated sessions,
  • local storage and other site state,
  • Profile-specific settings,
  • installed extension state where supported,
  • optional proxy configuration assigned to that Profile.

The current release line also improves Site Data portability with IndexedDB-aware snapshots and full Profile cloning, which is important for modern web applications that store state outside traditional cookies.

Organize large Profile libraries

Groups, Tags and search are designed for collections that grow beyond a few Profiles. For example, an agency can group by client, tag by platform and use an operational-status tag such as “review”, “ready” or “paused”.

Teams and managed environments

For company, school or other authorized managed deployments, keep Profile organization, permissions and workflow ownership clearly separated from ordinary personal browsing.

Where automation fits

Once a Profile workflow is stable, repetitive work can be moved into Automation Studio. Start sequentially, verify page readiness and expected state, then increase concurrency only after the workflow is reliable.

Responsible use

Profile isolation is an organizational and technical capability. It does not grant permission to operate accounts you do not own or administer, and it does not override website rules. Use separate Profiles for legitimate productivity, testing, support, client work and authorized account operations.

Try it: download Social Browser, create two Profiles, sign into the intended services in each, and confirm that their sessions remain separate.
